State Route 9N near Hague to close
HAGUE — A short segment of state Route 9N will be closed starting Monday Feb. 25 until May 23.
The state Department of Environmental Conservation will be making repairs to a retaining wall. The road will be closed south of the Hague town beach park and Route 9N’s intersection with Route 8, between Streeter Hill and Holman Hill Road and Dock Road. During the work, Streeter Hill Road and Holman Hill Road will only be accessible by motorists from the north. Dock Road will only be accessible from the south.
The signed detour from Route 9N involves Warren County Route 11, the Adirondack Northway (Interstate 87) between Exit 24 and Exit 25, and Route 8.
Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
