LAKE PLACID – About 30 area businesses will look to hire people to fill a wide variety of positions this week at the Adirondack Job Fair.

This fall’s Adirondack Job Fair will be held Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Conference Center at Lake Placid.

State, corporate and small businesses alike will be hiring for many positions, including healthcare professionals, sales, the service industry, office jobs, auto technicians and more. The Adirondack Health Institute will also be on hand with information available about their services; the organization offers free enrollment assistance to people who are out of work and need health insurance.

The biannual Adirondack Job Fair, hosted by the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism, is held each spring and fall to help connect area businesses with good employees looking for work.
