Adirondack Health’s September Community Outreach Series will focus on pain management with four programs on the following dates:

-Sept. 1, 6 to 7 p.m., Lake Placid Public Library

-Sept. 6, 6 to 7 p.m., Keene Fire Department

-Sept. 8, 6 to 7 p.m., Saranac Lake Free Library

-Sept. 13, 6 to 7 p.m., Goff-Nelson Memorial Library, Tupper Lake

Adirondack Health’s Abbey Lynch, PT, DPT will present “Understanding Your Pain and What to Do About It,” providing attendees with valuable information regarding why people have pain, what causes chronic pain, how a body reacts to pain and what treatment options are available.

These programs are free and refreshments will be served.
