SARANAC LAKE – Ryan Davis is the new owner of Borracho Taco downtown, having bought the business Monday from Adam Harris.

Davis attended Paul Smith’s College and graduated with a hybrid degree in culinary arts and business. He met his fiancee while at college, and they both decided they loved the area enough to stay.

After three years of working for Harris, Davis decided to buy the business, which he said was a good move for both of them.

Davis said he has no plans to change anything for now.

The Mexican restaurant at 7 Broadway stays open later than other eateries in Saranac Lake. Its hours are 11 a.m. to 4 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. It is closed on Mondays.
