Summer reading at Goff-Nelson

TUPPER LAKE – Readers of all ages will are invited to explore all things sports and fitness this summer as the Goff-Nelson Memorial Library presents “On Your Mark, Get Set, Read!” during their summer library program.

Activities may include reading age-appropriate books, group games and crafts, physical challenges, art projects, science and engineering experiments.

The 2016 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through young adult, with programs, prizes, storytimes, gift certificates and awards. Families are encouraged to read with their children.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. Monday and children can register anytime after that. There will be programs on the five Fridays of July at 10 a.m. and on July 15, Klaus and Lisa Meissner will perform about 10:15. The Tupper Lake Kiwanis Club will be coordinating story time and crafts again this year.
