Meets the definition of bankrupt

To the editor:

Bankrupt is defined as follows:

1) A person or organization declared in law unable to pay outstanding debts;

2) Completely lacking in a particular quality or value.

Looking at former president Donald Trump’s life experiences, he seems to fit both meanings of the word. Businesses Trump controlled filed bankruptcy a number of times. Yet he now proposes that should he be elected again and that his presidential powers should allow him more control of the independent Federal Reserve.

There are sound reasons that an independent Federal Reserve is critical, one of the more glaring in this instance is that Trump hasn’t proved that he has the business acumen needed to manage the nation’s financial wellbeing never mind his own. Seriously, how many casinos can you remember that don’t make money?

Secondly, the former president is currently being prosecuted for falsifying business records to hide from prospective voters his lack of values. The case alleging payouts to a Playboy centerfold and a porn star to keep this information buried. If one looks at his personal life, multiple wives with allegations of infidelity and multiple dalliances. His self-admitted perceived right to grab women in their private parts. His losing of the E Jean Carrol case for raping her. The second definition of the word also fits. In my opinion, any one of the above would preclude my voting for him but it appears he has done it all. It behooves us all to look at the facts and choose appropriately. Who’s the radical now?
