The state Department of Environmental Conservation is reminding anglers that the regular season for largemouth and smallmouth bass opens this Saturday, June 18, and continues through November 30.

Anglers can keep up to five bass per day, with a minimum length of 12 inches. On Lake Champlain, the minimum length is 10 inches.
