PAUL SMITHS – Local residents who are interested in deer management in the state are encouraged to watch a webinar on the topic presented by the state Department of Environmental Conservation next month.

People who would like to watch the webinar with others, including local DEC biologists, can watch it at the Paul Smith’s Visitor Interpretive Center on Tuesday, May 10 at 7 p.m. The webinar can also be viewed from home at the same time, or at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 12.

The DEC will discuss current deer management practices and issues, as well as set the stage for updating the state’s deer management plan.
