LAKE PLACID – Judi’s Computer Support, located at 1991 Saranac Ave. in Lake Placid, is an electronic waste recycler (E-Waste).

During the month of December, the business will take tube TVs, plasma screens and CRT monitors for free. These are the deep, heavy ones that it usually charges 40 cents per pound for.

All other electronics are recycled for free year-round. Last year, Judi’s kept 29,000 pounds of electronics out of the landfill.

Judi’s is trying to beat the record for 2014.
