Nzoni Thompson earns business degree

LINCOLN, NE — Nzoni Thompson of Lake Placid was among 1,175 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises Dec. 19 and 20 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Thompson earned a Master of Business Administration from the Office of Graduate Studies.

Saranac Laker named to Oneonta Dean’s List

ONEONTA — Logyn Sousa-Thompson of Saranac Lake was one of nearly 1,300 SUNY Oneonta students who earned Dean’s List honors for the fall 2025 semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

MANCHESTER, NH — Elizabeth DeMars of Tupper Lake was named to the Southern New Hampshire University Fall 2025 President’s List. The fall terms run from September to December.

TROY — Nearly 2,000 students were named to the Fall 2025 President’s List at Hudson Valley Community College.

The college’s President’s List recognizes students each fall and spring term who earn a term GPA between 3.5 and 4.0.
