Saranac Lake High School Principal Josh Dann was honored by a resolution passed unanimously by the Franklin County board of legislators on Dec. 29, recognizing him being named New York State’s High School Principal of the Year. “Congratulations to Principal Dann for his motivating students, encouraging students to graduate from high school and having graduation as an important goal,” local Legislator Lindy Ellis said in a statement. “Principal Dann developed innovations to help students graduate and used one-to-one communication to identify issues impacting graduation rates.” (Provided photo)
