SARANAC LAKE — Jebus Skateboards held a workshop at the Saranac Lake Skateboard Park on Oct. 26, where kids were able to assemble their own boards and get lessons with the Jebus team.

Ten people between the ages of 4 and 15 signed up for the two-hour session.

Organizer Carter Beitz said he planned this alongside Jackie Walker and Renee Hooker after the Jam for Joey skate jam in June. Those two sponsored this event in the form of a scholarship opportunity, Beitz said.

He said they’re planning to do this again next year.
