SARANAC LAKE — On Saturday, Sept. 21, Dawn Brungard, flooring manager of Coakley Home and Hardware, pulled the winning ticket for the Women’s College Scholarship Club raffle. Thanks to the generosity of Coakley’s, the club was able to raise hundreds of dollars for scholarships to be awarded to local men and women in the spring of 2025.

The lucky winner of the raffle, worth over $800 of gift certificates from local merchants, is Gaye O’Neil. When Gaye learned she won, she said, “I’ll use all of these gift certificates. I’m delighted to win this great raffle and support the important work of the Women’s College Scholarship Club.”
