Lake Placid student makes University of Delaware Dean’s List

NEWARK, Del. — Julia Crawford from Lake Placid has been named to the University of Delaware Dean’s List for the spring 2024 semester.
To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

Local student makes Oswego honor rolls

OSWEGO — Lowden C. Pratt of Tupper Lake, who is studying broadcasting and mass communication, was recently recognized by SUNY Oswego as a high academic achiever on the Deans’ List for the spring 2024 semester.
Deans’ List students are those attaining semester grade-point averages between 3.3 and 3.79 while carrying required academic credits.

ELMIRA — Elmira College recently announced this year’s recipients of its annual Key Award.
This year’s award was given to 831 students in 17 states. A tradition that goes back to 1935, the Key Award is presented to outstanding students in their junior year of high school or preparatory school.
Local students included:
¯ Senna Pepe of Keene
¯ Dillon Wilson of Saranac Lake
¯ Brooke Furlong of Long Lake
¯ Agi Kujabi of Saranac Lake
¯ Madelynn Southwick of Tupper Lake
¯ Jack LaQuay of Tupper Lake
Recipients receive an $88,000 scholarship over a four-year period, $22,000 per year, upon enrolling at Elmira College.

Tupper Lake student named to Troy Provost’s List

TROY, Ala. — Kristy Conlon of Tupper Lake has been named to the Provost’s List at Troy University for the summer semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.
The Provost’s List honors full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65.
