New real estate advisor joins Engel and Völkers
LAKE PLACID — Engel and Völkers Lake Placid Real Estate recently announced the newest addition to its team, Amanda Birchenough-Morrell, as a real estate advisor.
Birchenough-Morrell brings over two decades of diverse experience in fundraising, marketing, event planning and project management. Her career has been marked by an innovative approach, strategic thinking, and a passion for achieving excellence. Her professional journey includes leading major branding initiatives for the 2023 Lake Placid FISU World University Games, driving donor development and event planning for prestigious institutions like St. Lawrence University and Middlebury College, and managing marketing communications for the Tahoe Donner Association.
Birchenough-Morrell’s love for the Adirondack region began years ago at a family camp on Lake Harris in Newcomb, where she first experienced canoe camping and High Peak hiking. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a BA in English Literature, Birchenough-Morrell began her career in Lake Placid before pursuing opportunities in Truckee, California, Rochester, New York and Middlebury, Vermont. She returned to the region eight years ago and now owns a home in Saranac Lake with her husband Matt and their two dogs, Angus and Max. She enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, boating, crafting, and gardening.
