BUFFALO — The following local students graduated from the University at Buffalo this year.

¯ Kat Zimmerman of Keeseville graduated cum laude from the University at Buffalo with a bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing science from the College of Arts and Sciences. Zimmerman’s conferral date was February 2024.

¯ Schuyler Cranker of Saranac Lake graduated from the University at Buffalo with a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Cranker’s conferral date was February 2024.

UB is New York State’s flagship and the largest and most comprehensive institution in the State University of New York system.

UB celebrated over 9,400 students across 23 school-based or university-wide recognition and certificate ceremonies held April 26 through May 19.
