SARANAC LAKE — The Jacob L. Reiss Foundation recently made a donation to St. Joseph’s Addiction, Treatment and Recovery Centers in Saranac Lake. The $35,000 donation was presented by Kathryn Reiss on behalf of the Foundation to Zac Randolph, associate vice president of operations for St. Joseph’s.

“On behalf of St. Joseph’s and our board of directors, we are deeply grateful for the support of the Jacob L. Reiss Foundation and their commitment to advancing our community’s proud legacy of health and healing,” Randolph said of the donation. The latest gift is part of a long and supportive history between the Foundation and St. Joseph’s.

The connection between the two organizations is memorialized by the “Robert R. Reiss Community Services Center” in honor of the Reiss Family and their contributions and support over the years. The Center located on John Munn Road in Saranac Lake houses St. Joseph’s Outpatient Clinic and Open Access Center. In honor of the Foundation’s request, the donated funds will go in support of operations at the Robert R. Reiss Community Services Center.
