SARANAC LAKE — The Winter Carnival Committee this week announced its top 10 sponsors, without whom some Winter Carnival activities could not happen.

Ariens Co. sponsored two Rapid Trak 32-inch snowblowers for construction of the Ice Palace. Casella Waste Systems and Hyde Fuel are co-sponsors of the Gala Parade. Casella is also a sponsor of the Kiddie Parade. Hotel Saranac is sponsoring the opening fireworks and Guide Boat Reality is sponsoring the closing fireworks. Saranac Waterfront Lodge is sponsoring the Snow Ball, which is called the Monster Mash this year. The High School Royal Court is sponsoring a community celebration featuring the premiere of the Creepy Carnival slideshow. Adirondack Bank is sponsoring the innertube races and Belvedere Restaurant and Above the Tree Line Fundraising and Events are the primary sponsors of Magic Rocks. Stewart’s Shops is sponsoring Winter Carnival characters.
