North Country Chamber of Commerce officers announced

PLATTSBURGH — The North Country Chamber of Commerce has announced its officers and new board members as of Jan. 1, 2024.

Assuming the chair position is Steven Cacchio, president and CEO of Champlain National Bank, headquartered in Willsboro.

Other 2024 officers are:

¯ First Vice Chair and Government Affairs Chair: Steve Eaton, Norsk Titanium

¯ Second Vice Chair and Economic Development Chair: Michele Friedman, CV-TEC

¯ Treasurer: Courtney DeLaura, Agency Insurance

¯ Past Chair: Alexandra Barie, CDC Real Estate

¯ Industrial Council Chair: Andrew Sepcie, Monaghan Medical

¯ Visitors Bureau Chair: Michael King, Chick-fil-A

Joining the chamber board of directors are:

¯ Lamiaa Aly, Press Republican

¯ Troy Baraby, South Junction Enterprises

¯ Melissa Gooley, Hudson Headwaters Health Network

¯ Jeff Lambert, Alstom

¯ John Momot, Blue Haven Campground

“The chamber thanks all of these business leaders for their commitment going forward,” Douglas said, “while also thanking our outgoing board members who completed their board service at the end of 2023.”

Completing their terms were Patrick Kay, Nova Bus; James Holmes, Hoffman Eells Group; Michelle LeBeau, UVM Health Network; Shannon Wilkins, Rulfs Orchard; Doug Henry, Upstone Materials.

The North Country Chamber is the largest business and economic development organization in northern New York, serving Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton and northern Warren counties and Akwesasne with more than 4,000 members.
