SARANAC LAKE — The Women’s College Scholarship Club recently announced the 2023 winners of its High School and Continuing Education Scholarships.

The students will each received an award of $1,500.

The recipients are five June 2023 graduating senior from Saranac Lake Central schools and four adults from Essex or Franklin counties who wanted to increase their work skills and enhance their careers through traditional college, technical or trade school studies. Funds are raised in the Saranac Lake community and returned to deserving community students with the submission of an application in Mary of each year.

The 2023 scholarship recipients are pictured. The club congratulates and encourages them as they set forth on their educational journey.

“We thank each of you who have contributed and supported our many bake sales, raffles and visited us at the NCCC Craft Fair and Sparkle Christmas fundraisers,” a news release from the club reads. “Our mission is ‘awarding scholarships that empower local students to achieve their educational goals.'”
