Saranac Lake Chamber of Commerce hires new staff

SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has hired a new membership and engagement coordinator, Adrienne Oliveras.

The membership and engagement coordinator communicates the message of the chamber and the Saranac Lake Welcome Center across its media platforms, providing important developments and highlighting new aspects of the business environment to the membership of the chamber and the public at large.

Oliveras is a born and raised Saranac Lake native. Oliveras has always strived to help people in and out of her community, from volunteering at various events in the area, to going on yearly mission trips to communities in need throughout the U.S.

After graduating from Saranac Lake High School, she moved on to North Country Community College to further her education in the human services/criminal justice fields. While attending North Country, she served as the student government president helping provide a sense of community for students. As the new membership and engagement coordinator, she is thrilled to be helping local businesses succeed in their goals and making a positive impact for the hometown she loves.

“We are excited to have Adrienne join the Chamber team, her passion for the community and her knowledge of the area are an asset to the work we do to support our business members and promote the Saranac Lake area.” said Rachel Karp, executive director of the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
