New employees named at Berkshire Hathaway

Leslie Mella

Three new people have joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Adirondack Premier Properties and Adirondack Realty.

Leslie Mella was named vacation rental coordinator, and Arthur Huddleston and Carter Carlisle have become licensed New York state real estate salespeople.

The new additions were announced recently by Margie Philo, Broker and owner of the business.

Mella, the business’ new vacation rental coordinator, was born in Manhattan and raised in the Hudson Valley. She moved to Lake Placid after having graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management and has spent the last 10 years in the hospitality industry. Mella thought her move to Lake Placid would be temporary but fell in love with the Adirondacks and decided this is the place she wanted to call home.

Huddleston is excited to have recently reached one his goals of being a licensed New York state real estate agent. He moved to Lake Placid from central New York for an Adirondack lifestyle. Huddleston and his son Aubrey currently reside in Lake Placid with his significant other Katie. Huddleston is living his dream of living in the Adirondacks and wants to help others live their dreams here in the Adirondacks.

Arthur Huddleston

Carlisle graduated from Kane High School with honors. In line to attend a prestigious business college, he decided to stray from the norm and pursue real estate. His passion for business, finance, and personal connection helped him realize that, as a real estate agent, he could utilize all of his strengths while being able to make personal connections with people that will last a lifetime. Moving to the Adirondacks in early 2021, he loves the outdoors. He wants to help his clients find their dream homes.
