Women’s Civic Chamber of Saranac Lake invites people to Potluck Meet and Eat
SARANAC LAKE — The Women’s Civic Chamber of Saranac Lake will hold its annual Potluck Meet and Eat at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21 at the Knotty Pine Lodge, 6 Old Ray Brook Road, Ray Brook.
This energetic group hopes to entice new membership at this social affair by offering a diverse menu and friendly conversation.
The potluck will kick off the group’s 50/50 raffle fundraiser. Tickets will sell for $20 each. The winning ticket will be drawn on Jan. 16, and only 300 will be sold, leaving the possibility of a $3,000 prize. Profits from the raffle will be used for the betterment of the Saranac Lake community and local youth programs through the WCC “mini-grant” program.
Women’s Civic Chamber members take part in various fundraisers and community service projects throughout the year. Typically, meetings are held the third Monday of each month, September through June, at 5 p.m. at the Best Western hotel on Lake Flower Avenue.
