TJ Toyota made a $1,000 donation to the Joint Council for Economic Opportunity of Clinton and Franklin Counties, Inc. in conjunction with its Community Calendar Giving Back Campaign. The funds have been earmarked to assist with youth scholarships for summer camp attendance. JCEO often works in conjunction with other organizations such as the YMCA, to assist area youth in qualifying for scholarships to attend summer camps. Often times it will go above and beyond and assist with before and after care as well. The organization tries never to turn a family in need away and expressed gratitude for donations such as this one, which help provide funding to make camp happen for many children who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity for such an experience.
