Library System Board appoints trustee
The Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library System has announced the appointment of Linda Crosby of Malone to their Board of Trustees.
Crosby is representing Franklin County.
Crosby is retired after a teaching career that spanned 31 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art from the University at Albany. Additionally, she completed graduate level courses in Art History, Studio Art, Art Education and Education at the State Universities at New Paltz, Potsdam and Plattsburgh.
Crosby’s past employment history includes teaching at Brushton-Moira Central School, Franklin-Essex-Hamilton Board of Cooperative Educational Services and Rhinebeck Country School (now Devereaux School) in Rhinebeck, New York.
Crosby is a member of the Foothills ARTSociety, formerly the Arts Council for Franklin County, and participates in a book club that will soon celebrate its 20th year.
