More than 30 high school students from Saranac Lake High School are headed to Timber Wolf Young Life Camp in Michigan for a week this month. To raise funds for the trip, one of the Young Life leaders, Alex Rogan, who has been growing his hair out for the past three years, agreed to lay his locks on the line. Voters were able to donate ($1 = one vote) toward Rogan either cutting his hair or keeping it. After the voting was all said and done, more than $7,000 was raised, and Rogan has a brand-new haircut. Organizers thank everyone who voted, Abi Newton from Salon Mirage for providing the haircut and Rogan for being willing to sacrifice his head of hair to help kids get to camp. (Photo provided)
