SARANAC LAKE – Kat Wright and her band will return to the Waterhole at 9 p.m. Saturday, May 19.

On Wright’s website, it says Wright’s “voice is both sultry and dynamic, delicate yet powerful; gritty but highly emotive and nuanced, has been described as ‘a young Bonnie Raitt meets Amy Winehouse.’ Add to that voice enough stage presence to tame lions, and the combination of feline femininity proves immediately enchanting.”

Her band includes Josh Weinstein on bass, Bob Wagner on guitar, John Kimock/Ezra Oklan on drums, Shane Hardiman on keys, Luke Laplant on bari sax, Jake Whitesell on tenor sax, Dave Purcell on trumpet and Wright on vocals.
