Art opening

Oil painter Heidi Gutersloh stands next to her pieces at the NorthWind Fine Arts gallery in Saranac Lake Friday. Many of her paintings were inspired by items from her home and from Floyd’s City Barbershop in Mount Airy, North Carolina, the place where Andy Griffith would get his hair cuts. She and blacksmith David Woodward are the two featured artists this month in an exhibit titled “Back to the Future.” (Enterprise photo — Griffin Kelly)
Blacksmith David Woodward stands next to his piece “Udderation” at the NorthWind Fine Arts Gallery in Saranac Lake Friday. “Udderation” shows a group of frogs putting a cow on a pedestal and praising her for her large udder. Around her neck, she wears a shiny bell, “bling” is how Woodward described it. The chain of frogs was repurposed from an old manure spreader. (Enterprise photo — Griffin Kelly)
