Corps birthday

The Marine Corps League Adirondack Leathernecks Detachment 1268 celebrated the Marine Corps’ 242nd birthday at La Bella’s restaurant on Nov. 4 with their families and guests. Special guests for the evening included 94-year old World War II Marine Bob Bino and Judy Vaughn, representing the  Mountain Mama Quilters, who since last November in partnership with the Leathernecks, have presented over two dozen service specific quilts to Veterans at AMC-Mercy in Tupper Lake and St. Joseph's Veteran Center in Saranac Lake.
