SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake volleyball team defeated the Saranac Central Spartans 3-0 at home on Thursday. The Red Storm won by scores of 25-14, 25-20 and 25-15.

Sophomore Sophie Czadzeck had a near triple-double with 19 assists, 11 points and nine digs. She also added one ace and one kill. Teammate Gracen Foster also had a solid outing, recording 11 points, 10 digs, seven aces and six kills.

Up next, the Red Storm, which improved to 4-1 overall, will host the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks at 5 p.m. today.
