SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake volleyball team picked up its second consecutive victory of the season Tuesday, sweeping the AuSable Valley Patriots 3-0. The Red Storm won by scores of 25-11, 25-11 and 25-7.

Sophomore Sophie Czadzeck paced Saranac Lake with a triple-double as she recorded 16 points, 12 assists and 10 aces. She also had three kills and a dig.

Senior Melody Costigan had a solid night from the line, earning 10 points and six aces. Fellow senior Gracen Foster recorded eight kills, five points and four aces.

The Red Storm, which improved to 2-0 overall, is slated to host the Plattsburgh Hornets at 6 p.m. today.
