LAKE PLACID — The elevated par three, 11th hole was the scene of yet another hole-in-one Thursday, Aug. 7, at the Whiteface Club and Resort Golf Course in Lake Placid.

Club member C.C. Sloan used a 7-iron from the blue tees to record his first career ace. The 11th plays downhill and measures 139 yards. Jeff DeSantis, 2025 club champion, witnessed Sloan’s feat.
