Izzo finished in 1 hour, 3 minutes, 1 second. Sarah Lister of Potsdam finished in second place in the women’s division in 1:11:49, while Justine Trybendis of Glens Falls was third in 1:12:27.

On the men’s side, John Cho of Summit, New Jersey was the top finisher, crossing the finish line in 59:52. Dylan Cohen of Saranac Lake was second in 1:00:26, while Philip Matthews of Bloomingdale placed third in 1:05:44.

In the team’s division, the squad of Helena Cordick, John Stack and Laura Haley turned in a time of 1:08:06 to earn the win.

The race series is hosted every Monday night until Aug. 11. This summer’s races start at 6:30 p.m. and feature a 400-yard swim in Mirror Lake, a 12-mile bike around the River Road Loop, and a 3-mile run down and back Mount Whitney Road.
