Red Storm hoopers honored
Saranac Lake’s Mik Denkenberger holds up a trophy, alongside a Madrid-Waddington’s Kolby Todd during Saturday’s 45th Annual Burkman Classic Holiday Boys Basketball Tournament game. The Saranac Lake JV and varisty basketball team’s placed third in the Canton Holiday Tournament this past weekend. Both teams lost to Massena and beat Madrid-Waddington. All tournament-team selection included Ryder Harrison for JV, and Denkenberger for varsity. The Red Storm will return to league play at home on Friday against Lake George. The JV team will kick off at 2 p.m., while the varsity team is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start.
