Saranac Lake spikers fall to the Hornets , 3-0
SARANAC LAKE — After winning its first two matches of the season, the Saranac Lake volleyball team suffered its first loss, with a 3-0 defeat to the host Plattsburgh Hornets.
The Hornets dominated in each game winning by scores of 25-19, 25-11 and 25-22.
Marley Logan led the Red Storm with seven points, while Emily Gay had a team-high four kills.
Gracen Foster and Rori Chenaille-Schenk were solid defensively for Saranac Lake. Foster had two blocks, while Chenaille-Schenk had six digs.
The Red Storm will host the Northeastern Clinton Cougars at 6 p.m. today.
