Red Storm volleyball tops the Patriots
SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake volleyball team recorded its second victory of the season on Monday night, topping the AuSable Valley Patriots 3-0 at home. The Red Storm, which improved to 2-0 overall, won by scores of 25-17, 25-17 and 25-20.
Saranac Lake’s Alice LaDue had a solid outing recording a team-high 10 points, six assists and three aces. Lexie Donaldson led the charge defensively with 14 digs to pace her team.
The Red Storm were slated to take on Plattsburgh on the road Tuesday before hosting Northeastern Clinton at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
