ADK North Stars attend Vermont clinic

The Adirondack North Stars 14U baseball team took part in a clinic hosted by the reigning New England Small College Athletic Conference champions, Middlebury College, baseball coaching staff on Monday in Vermont. Middlebury assistant coaches Mike Phelps and Henry Strmecki led the team through a 90-minute instructional camp where they helped with players hitting, pitching and fielding. Following the clinic, the North Stars played the Burlington Bulldogs in a pair of games. The two squads splits, with the North Stars winning the final 7-6 win over the Bulldogs. In between games, Middlebury College assistant director of admission met with the team and discussed pointers in being a student-athlete at the college level.
