Boese won the men’s overall title in 59 minutes, 19 seconds. Izzo was the women’s overall winner in 1:04:29. Both competed in the 30 to 39 age group.

Lake Placid’s Dylan Cohen was second on the men’s side in 1:00:35, followed by Matthew Cook, also of Lake Placid, in 1:05:39. On the women’s side, Clare Egan of Lake Placid was second overall in 1:11:28 and Rachel Scall of Brooklyn was third in 1:14:28.

Siblings Abigail and Duncan Van Dorn, both of Lake Placid, had the fastest time in the teams division. They finished in 1:10:31. Mark Erickson and Laurie Humbert were second in 1:10:34; Helena Cordick, Kristen Buck and Laura Haley placed third in 1:15:25.

The race series is hosted every Monday night through Aug. 12. This summer’s races start at 6:30 p.m. and feature a 400-yard swim in Mirror Lake, a 12-mile bike around the River Road Loop, and a 3-mile run down and back on Mount Whitney Road.
