ADK Chill win Coopertown baseball crown

The Adirondack Chill youth baseball team, which consists of Lake Placid, Saranac Lake and Plattsburgh players, won the Cooperstown Backyard Classic 12U Division title on July 7. After losing their first two games on July 5 and 6, the team won three straight contests on July 7 en route to the championship. The Adirondack Chill defeated the Finger Lakes Falcons Grey 14-2 and the Montreal Titans 4-2 before topping the High Heat Baseball Academy, of Binghamton, 5-3 in the championship game.
