Bombers hitters sweep NCCS
LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid volleyball team defeated the Northeastern Clinton Cougars at home on Thursday, winning by scores of 25-23, 25-15 and 25-12.
Senior Sydney Garrison paced the Blue Bombers with 16 points, 10 aces and five digs. Junior Norah Galvin had nine points, six assists, six kills and three aces in the win.
Lake Placid improved to 2-5 overall. The team is slated to take on the Beekmantown Eagles on the road today. The match will kick off at 6 p.m.
