Tupper Lake hockey teams bring home Championship Banners

The Tupper Lake PeeWee minor hockey team pose at the annual Bilow Buckley Tri-Town Peewee tournament in Brasher Falls this past weekend. The team lost the first game of the tournament 4-1 against North Franklin. The team won the next two games by a score of 8-1 against Malone and 6-1 against Tri-Town. The minors faced North Franklin once again in the championship game and won 5-3 to win the tournament. The Tupper Lake PeeWee major hockey team won the Thousand Island PeeWee Shiver on the River tournament in Clayton this past weekend. After losing their first game of the tournament 3-2 against Troy/Albany, the team defeated Lewis County 2-1 and Thousand Island 9-2. The majors then faced Troy/Albany again in the championship game and won 2-0 to take the championship banner back to Tupper Lake.
