Red Storm hoopers top Beekmantown

SARANAC LAKE — After dropping their last three games, the Saranac Lake boys basketball team finally found their groove on Tuesday.

Playing at home, the Red Storm defeated Beekmantown 57-45.

Saranac Lake’s Nate McCarthy paced his team with a game-high 21 points. McCarthy also collected 11 rebounds in the win.

After leading Beekmantown by just five points at halftime, the Red Storm pulled away from Beekmantown behind the hot shooting of Landon Faubert with five three-pointers.
