Lake Placid golf stays unbeaten

LAKE PLACID — It came down to a nail-bitter, but Lake Placid boys golf team stays undefeated as they beat Peru in a tiebreaker.

Lake Placid’s Brady Trembley, Jack Armstrong and Chris Bryne all won their matches on Wednesday, shooting 38, 38 and 39 respectively. Peru tied the match with Dominick Nuzzo defeating Lake Placid’s Grady Draper 41-47, Macen Mero defeating Lake Placid’s Alex Wright 46-48 and Lake Placid’s Taner Foley falling to Josh Trombley 49-57.

From there the match went to a tiebreaker which was all the scores added up between the teams. Lake Placid took the edge with a 162-174 victory.

With this win the team continues to be undefeated, 7-0 in conference play. The next match will be played in Moriah today.
