Monaco’s four-man sled piloted by Rudy Rinaldi slides through the “Shady II” curve on its side after tipping higher up the track at Mount Van Hoevenberg during a World Cup race on Feb. 16, 2019 in Lake Placid. To make the trip for the driver even more nightmarish, the sled righted itself to continue speeding down the run and then nearly hit a track worker who was standing on the ice in the finish ramp.
