Tupper volleyball nets another win

TUPPER LAKE — The Tupper Lake volleyball team picked up another victory Wednesday, sweeping past Brushton-Moira in a Northern Athletic Conference match.

The Lumberjacks won by scores of 25-13, 25-11 and 25-12.

Tupper Lake’s balanced attack was led by senior Sierah LaValley and sophomore Chelsy Locke. LaValley put down six kills, and had eight aces and 14 points. Locke collected 14 points, five aces and 22 assists.

Other contributors for the Lumberjacks were Elaina Daniels (nine points, four aces and two kills), Kylin Strader (two points, two kills and two digs), Camille Cuttaia (three kills and three blocks), Alexis Callaghan (two kills and two digs), London Tyo (26 assists, 31 sets, seven points and four aces) and Maia Polzella (three digs and two assists).

Tupper Lake returns to action Friday at home against Salmon River at 5 p.m.
