LAKE PLACID — Eighth-grader Olivia Ferebee scored three goals to lead the Lake Placid girls soccer team to a 5-0 victory over Seton Catholic on Friday.

Ferebee, Emma Adragna and Dariana Patterson each scored goals for the Blue Bombers in the first half. Ferebee put the game away with two more in the second half.

Adragna also chipped in two assists as Lake Placid outshot Seton Catholic 19-3. Blue Bombers goalkeeper Lea O’Brien recorded the shutout.

AuSable Valley 3, Saranac Lake 0

SARANAC LAKE — AuSable Valley scored two goals in the second half to secure a 3-0 victory over Saranac Lake on Friday.

Jenna Stanley was credited with two goals and Lilley Keyser had one to pace the Patriots, who outshot Saranac Lake 18-9.
