SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake Fun Run Series had another solid week last week as the end of the season approached.

The final races will take place this week on Aug. 29. Registration opens at 5:30 p.m. in Riverside Park, followed by the runs at 6 p.m. sharp.

Children’s race include distances of a quarter-mile, half-mile and 1-mile. The adult runs range between 2 and 5 miles and have been held on different courses in the village each week.

The Fun Runs are organized by volunteers and sponsored by the village of Saranac Lake and the Kiwanis Club of Saranac Lake. There is no fee to participate in the fun runs. For more information, contact Andy Pickreign at capp_andy@yahoo.com or 518-524-3557.
