LAKE PLACID — Lake Placid natives Nina Lussi and Becket Ledger have been nominated for national team status by USA Nordic.

Lussi, who returned to ski jumping last year after a knee injury, was nominated to the B Team for ski jumping, behind Nita Englund, of Florence, Wisconsin. Ledger was nominated to the Junior National Team for Nordic Combined, a sport which combines ski jumping and cross-country skiing.

Tara Geraghty-Moats, who trained in Lake Placid under the New York Ski Educational Foundation (NYSEF), was also nominated to the women’s Nordic combined team.
