PSC athletes named as All-Americans

PAUL SMITHS – Nineteen men and women athletes at Paul Smith’s College were named USCAA Academic All-Americans in the fall.

Nine men and 10 women athletes from five different sports earned the honors, with the women’s soccer team leading the way with seven. Other teams include the men’s soccer team, the golf team, runners from the cross-country team and the volleyball team.

“The coaches encourage the student athletes to achieve academic excellence, while also working towards athletic success on the playing field at Paul Smith’s College,” PSC athletic director Jim Tucker wrote in an email.

For the golf team, sophomores Justin Engler, Austin Delosh and Matthew Wedge were each recognized; Gabrielle Buehler earned the honor for the volleyball team; and Isaac Leach and Tessa White represented the men’s and women’s cross-country teams.

For the men’s soccer team, Kegan Kleeschulte, Nathan Smith, Thomas Pratt, Patrick White and Logan Milligan were named for academic excellence, and Amanda Kern, Katey Snyder, Kayla Lyons, Falon Cote, Anna Mehner, Margret Montag and Emma Winiarski represented the women’s team.
