Twenty-nine runners took on the 4-mile Kiwassa Out and Back course, which was the longest race of the night. Eighteen racers completed the course in under 32 minutes.

In other “adult” races 18 completed the 2-mile distance and 16 covered the 3-mile course.

The kids’ races included distances of a quarter-mile, half-mile and a full mile.

The Thursday Night Fun Run series takes place every Thursday through Aug. 30, with registration opening at 5:30 p.m., followed by the runs at 6 p.m. sharp. The adult runs range between 2 and 5 miles and are held on different courses in the village each week. The Fun Runs are organized by volunteers and sponsored by the village of Saranac Lake and the Kiwanis Club of Saranac Lake. There is no fee to participate in the fun runs.
